At Add Peace Mindanao, Inc. (APMI), our volunteer engagement is guided by a set of policies, standards, and service guidelines that help ensure a respectful, safe, and well-coordinated experience for everyone involved. These guidelines provide the general framework for volunteer participation, including roles and responsibilities, expected conduct, communication, confidentiality, and other important terms that support effective collaboration across our programs.
These guidelines apply to all individuals serving as volunteers with APMI, whether in online, onsite, or hybrid assignments. Depending on the nature of the role, additional program-specific guidelines or instructions may also apply.
From time to time, APMI may review and update its volunteer guidelines to make participation more inclusive, responsive, and aligned with the needs of our organization and the communities we serve. These updates are intended to strengthen the volunteer experience, improve coordination, and ensure that our volunteer programs remain meaningful, relevant, and impact-driven.
What this may include?
clearer role descriptions and expectations
more inclusive opportunities for volunteers from different backgrounds
flexible arrangements for online, onsite, part-time, hybrid, or short-term service
updated guidance on communication, coordination, and expected conduct
